The boy was in the fashion industry when we first met. Models, you know. Wear very little of anything, walk down a runway, cause a scene.

A beautiful name and a beautiful face. If I wasn't engaged, I'd snatch him up in a heartbeat.

He's rather engaged himself. Unfortunately, his beloved isn't with us. But there's no crime in gazing upon a beautiful face.

[It's REALLY unfortunate for March because holy shit was Liz HBIC and the staff is SUFFERING without her.]

Oh, most definitely! There's nothing wrong with looking, after all. [ Dorian pauses for a moment, then sighs. ] Really, I'm glad you've got people from your world here that you tolerate. There's so many annoyances among the imPorts that any voice of sanity is appreciated.

[Does Dorian want to get some business off his chest? Sounds like Dorian wants to get some business off his chest, business that may prove handy for March later on. Of course he's going to encourage SORDID GOSSIP.]

God, where do we start. [ Dorian paused for a moment, thinking. ] Well, since you're well acquainted with vampirism, you'll get the full understanding of how much of an asshole Miles Edgeworth is.

[Well acquainted is so accurate it almost hurts.]

He did something to your Tobias?

[brushoff]

He convinced Toby to turn himself into the police for something beyond his control. After all, he certainly didn't mean to turn those people when he drained them, but it's hardly like he asked this place to mess with his powers the way they did.

[Paaaaaause for digestive purposes. And then, barely keeping disgust at bay:]

This man, he works for the law in some manner?

[brushoff]

He's a lawyer of sorts, a prosecutor. He's also needlessly insufferable.

[There's a noise, a mix of disgust and disapproval. Like he's just walked into realize his bathroom had a toilet malfunction and he will be spending the next fifteen minutes dealing with it. Ugh.]

I believe being needlessly insufferable is part of the job description. [The law is just the worst.] And he is an imPort like us, I take it?

[brushoff]

He is. [ and don't mind Dorian, just gonna keep on bitching. ] Every time we run into each other, we get into a fight of some sort. He's absolutely insufferable and is willing to walk all over people and burn all sorts of bridges if he thinks he knows best.

["I have a problem," is what that translates to in March's mind. "I have a thorn in my side named Miles Edgeworth, a typical abuser of his legal authority." What's to be done about that? He's heard of imPort durability, but there are other ways to deal with thorns. Locking them up and out of sight has done wonders in the past.

The scheming never stops.]

He hasn't burned the right bridge yet, then, if he's still running about being a terror.

He hasn't burned enough bridges, [ said with a scowl. Is it obvious how much Dorian hates Miles? Because he really does. ]

I'd love to see him knocked down a peg or two.

Understandably so. He'll cross a bridge that burns him in return sooner rather than later, I'm sure.

[ Dorian lets out a small huff, scowling still. ]

And I hope I'm there to watch when it happens.

Do you? [He's far too amused by this to be serious about burning bridges with Miles Edgeworth, definitely just friendly hypotheticals.] I'd think you should prefer to be removed in the case of anything happening to this lawman you've a justified [geddit] dislike of. That way, there is no tie to you. He swallows his just desserts and you can bask without having any other lawmen sniff around for your involvement.

[brushoff]

[ those hypotheticals aren't sounding too much like hypotheticals in Dorian's book. ]

In that case, I hope I'm there to watch the aftermath.

[One of the reasons he likes Dorian so, so much.]

After all the shit he's put Toby through, we deserve that and so much more. [ and it's then at this point that Dorian realizes wait, you're talking about yourself too much. ]

Oh, no! No, no, Dorian, nothing to apologize for! You've given me information that may very well be crucial at a later date and hopefully felt some relief in your chest and atop your shoulders at the same time. [The way he says it all, it sounds more like he's thanking Dorian for a favor. Because he totally is.] Necessary for your wedding, too. Knowing the names of those who are not to be let in is part of the process. It should be a joyous day for you and your Tobias. Anyone who could compromise that won't find welcoming open doors.

[ Okay see Dorian's a little worried here because that sounds a TAD threatening? But let's be real, he's okay with that. ]
